We are proud to stand with our MoCo area promoters/instructors/DJ’s to do something special. And that’s creating a mecca, where there’s something for everyone to go and dance in the Gaithersburg/Rockville/Fairfax County VA. area.

As we started doing more and more things in the Latin dance community, we felt that for both of us, it would be easier if we had a one-stop shop for everything that we do. That we do with others and what we can do for others. 

While Sheila is really proficient in doing make-up for herself and others as well as all things dance - whether it's with a team OR teaching others.  

KB is proficient in all things PC, meaning he knows his way around content as well as now becoming a DJ as well as an MC.

Together, they are promoters for their own event, ¡ECHALE! as well as La Bodega and 
Salsa & Bachata Y Mas. 

So, with that being said, we have three reasons why we have come together to build this website. 

Married almost ten (wow) years ago, Sheila and KB both found themselves in supporting roles within their journey within the Latin dance scene in the DMV. Their paths with regards to Latin dance were different with regard to how they got there but these separate adventures made them better as a couple within the scene.

KayShei is also an aspiring media group with the purpose of helping people create media primarily for people like dancers, promoters or directors to create content for their establishment.

We would also like to thank our friends and family for sticking with us as we embark on yet another one of our crazy journeys. But it looks like we’re finally figuring things out on our own. And to everyone else, we truly hope you like what we’re planning. So pardon our dust, the end result will be worth it.

*UPDATE* – Three events, a podcast and who knows how many classes taught later and we think it was worth it.
